The End of Another Weekend

Another weekend comes to a close. And what a weekend it has been. I got to spend a lot of time my garage…, where I feel safe…, no one knows about this place…sorry I couldn’t help but make the song reference to Weezer right there. But seriously I had a great time putting together some new carts for sound equipment and helping with one broken-snowboard-now-bench for the second sister I never had, Jana. I always love spending time making things with my hands. It’s such a different feeling from making things on a computer. In the garage, I end up with something tangible, something entirely physical. That is rarely the case on the computer. Everything is virtual, not really there.

For now, I think I’ll just leave it at that. The weekend was good. Lord, prepare me tonight while I sleep for another week. Increase my capacity for you in my life. Make me more like you and less like me.
