Trucks and Hard Times

Today my truck turned 200,000. She may not look it, but she sure feels like it most days. Poor old girl has taken good care of me; and I her, as much as possible. It’s an odd thing to look back on the last 11 years of her life. She’s had a few bad accidents over the years, but many more good memories than that. What can I do but be thankful for all that she’s provided me.

Thinking about what to be thankful for, it’s hard not to think about my fellow Americans who are struggling just to provide themselves with the necessities of life right now in New Orleans and the surrounding areas. My heart breaks for all of you. I pray for you continually and am trying to help in as many ways as I can. May God bless you and keep you safe in these troubling times.
