Friday Reflections

Working the regular 9-to-5 for the last few months has put me into the usual “It’s Friday” mode. It’s nice to think about the fact that I don’t have to get to the office in the morning right away, that I can just “do whatever” for a few days. But for me, work is a passion. Not just any work (I really did look forward to my days off from Coke), but the work I do now.

My work at Sleeping Giant Studios (SGS) is probably as close to my ideal job as I can imagine at this point in my life. What can I say but Thank you God! Not only did I not have to spend my first few years out of school doing some meanial advertising copy-and-paste routine, but after two years of running my own business, I get to do that which most fulfills my own personal desires.

You are amazing, Lord. Thank you for your provision and grace to make each day worth living. “…I have been crucified with Christ. I myself no longer live, but Christ lives in me. So I live my life in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” - Galatians 2:19-20
